CONFERENCE INFORMATION
GO 2025 is Friday, May 16-17 at Burke Community Church in Burke, Virginia. The conference starts Friday evening and is followed by a full day of speakers, seminars, and worship sessions on Saturday.
As the community of Christ, we the church gather together (Heb. 10:24-25) and we grow together (Eph. 4:15-16). But Christ calls us to still something more; He calls us to go together. When Jesus sent out the twelve disciples, He sent them out two-by-two, (Mark 6:7). He knew they would need to lean on one another in carrying out His mission, and He knew that the testimony of two was always stronger than one.
He instilled similar wisdom in his servant Solomon, who reminds us: “Two are better than one because they have a good return for their labor” (Eccl. 4:9). And indeed, “A cord of three strands is not quickly torn apart.” (Eccl. 4:12). Though it is too often the path we end up taking, we were never meant to be lone wolves in our calling.
Our theme for GO 2025 is centered on this simple, but powerful truth. When we go together, we go better. This year, we are going to explore what that looks like biblically and practically.
Theme verse:
Acts 1:8 “But you (all) will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
Dates: May 16 & 17
Cost: General Admission – $39 | Students – $29
Theme: Knowing and Sharing Jesus Together

Kaitlyn Scheiss
Wikus van der Walt
Wikus and his wife Carina started their journey together in 1986, first as friends in a ministry, and married in 1991. They have two daughters, Lara and Emelia, studying communication and the arts at Nelson Mandela University in Gqebera (formerly Port Elizabeth). At university, Wikus and Carina both received a clear call to missions. They started out in 1993 in a semi-rural community south of Johannesburg, South Africa, reaching out to the local black community with the love and care of Jesus. This work developed into their co-founding the non-profit organization 25:40 focused on community development and evangelism work. The vision was based on Jesus’s parable in Matthew 25:31-45 with emphasis on verse 40. This text became a directive for Wikus’ ministry.

BRAD + REBEKAH
Brad & Rebekah first met and began singing together while students at North Central University in Minneapolis, Minnesota. They got married in 2006, and two years later, God opened the door for them to start touring full-time together. After welcoming two kids, they moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 2014 and currently spend half the year ministering with Christ’s Church of the Valley and the other half of the year traveling and producing music. No matter the season or the joys or challenges they face, the two never lose sight of their mission. As Rebekah says, “Everything we ever do is meant to bring people back to Christ.”
